🍸Where We're Drinking🍸
Nashville, Tennessee
A bartender-curated map and quick-hit directory of Nashville’s must-sip spots—beyond Broadway and the honky-tonk shuffle.
Hey Darlin’! This month we’re shining a spotlight on the bars Nashville bartenders actually love.
Sure, there’s plenty to see on Broadway, but this town is so much more than neon and road sodas. Stick with us for the inside track—just promise not to blow up these gems.
Cherries
Cherries
The Buck Cherry but - Literally anything on the menu, or off. They take great pride in what they do - approachable and simple.
An elevated dive bar where you can feel comfortable in a suit or in sweat pants. All are welcome.
Union Hill Trading Post
Union Hill Trading Post
Margaritas on the patio are always popular - fresh organic juice and a great selection of 100% agave tequila. The Billionaire Marg is a strong and rich version of a Cadillac with Quintaliza Tequila. Regulars also love the shot & beer combos like the Kickstarter featuring a high life pony and a shot of Standard Proof local cinnamon whiskey.
A friendly neighborhood saloon that serves fresh homemade food and drink in one of the last unspoiled rural areas of greater Nashville - best traveled on the back of a Harley.

Matcha Mezcal Sour or the Bravazzi Spritz.
Everything about this place seals the deal. Staff is on point - themed vinyl nights - gorgeous menu of small plates and shareables. One of my classic staples for anyone visiting.
Martha My Dear
Martha My Dear
Their most popular drink is Tipsy Jitters; made with vodka, local cold brew, Averna, Licor 43, & Angostura-infused cream (basically a White Russian/Espresso Martini hybrid). It has a bit of a cult following amongst the regulars - a few even have Tipsy Jitters tattoos!
Martha's is an industry clubhouse -a neighborhood spot built by bartenders who wanted to make great drinks without the pressure to perform.
Joelton Hardware
Joelton Hardware
Local Beers
An active hardware store with a stage that graces presence for true locals. From folk to bluesy rock - you never know what you’re going to get. We also adore the Middle Grounds Coffee pop up in the back and the local sourdoughs.
Gramps Garage Bar
Gramps Garage Bar
Puddin’ Shots (dirt and worms is gospel) or the YooHoo Drink
Nestled between a few cocktail bars - Gramps Garage is the getaway from the crowds and clamor we need. Typically some of the best food trucks parked outside, the energy is no frills and no judgment.
Roy’s Tavern
Roy’s Tavern
A shot and a beer (a Lucky’s lager in a frosty mug is the pro tip.) We also love the Pitt Boss shot which is a 50/50 Rye & Meletti
Everyone’s nightcap...”So, Roy’s?” - a hotbed for musicians and industry locals - the Cheers of East Nashville. They also have the most unbelievable tavern-style pies within a 100 mile radius and wings that you can't ignore once you see them come out.
