Sequoya Lee is an Oakland-based interdisciplinary artist, designer, and hospitality leader whose work connects creativity, culture, and community. With more than a decade of experience in hospitality management, beverage direction, and event production, Sequoya approaches the industry as an opportunity to build meaningful connections and create spaces where people feel welcomed, valued, and celebrated.

Drawing on a background in activism and community organizing, Sequoya has developed a hospitality philosophy centered on inclusivity, cultural awareness, and intentional experiences. As Managing Partner of a neighborhood cocktail bar in downtown Oakland, Sequoya brings together art, cocktails, music, and community programming to celebrate the city’s cultural identity. Looking ahead, Sequoya is developing a nonprofit initiative focused on collective learning, economic empowerment, and community self-sufficiency.
