How to Make a Ginger Smash
♦ 2 chunks fresh pineapple
♦ 3/4 ounce Luxardo maraschino liqueur
♦ 3/4 ounce Berentzen apple liqueur
♦ 1/2 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
♦ Garnish: pineapple leaf
1. Muddle the pineapple, ginger and sugar in a shaker until they form a paste.
2. Add the rum, maraschino liqueur, apple liqueur and lime juice, then fill the shaker halfway with ice.
3. Shake briefly and pour unstrained into a rocks glass.
3. Garnish with a pineapple leaf.
