How to Make a Got Martini?

Recipe Details

A signature Tanqueray martini from Tavern Law.
♦ Difficulty Level: Moderate

Ingredients

BARTENDER Magazine’s Recommended Spirit: Tanqueray No. Ten Gin
♦ 1.75 oz Tanqueray Ten
♦ .5 oz Milk Liqueur
♦ .5 oz Lemongrass Shochu

Steps

1. For the milk liqueur: We take 1000g Vodka, 1000g Milk, 1000g White Sugar and add those to a jar.
2. Then we quarter 2 oranges, 2 limes and 2 grapefruits before squeezing the juice straight into the jar and tossing the husk in for all citrus. We cap it and let it sit for 3 days at room temp before straining through a filter lined chinois until it runs clear.
3. For the Martini: We combine 1.75 oz Tanqueray Ten, .5 oz Lemongrass Shochu and .5 oz Milk Liqueur. We stir that (using 1×1 cubes) for 50 rotations for perfect dilution. Strain into a coupe glass, cut a lemon peel & orange peel into a small parallelagram slicing a small slit in and sticking them on the glass.
