How to Make a La Laguna

A signature Tanqueray martini from El Paso Restaurante Tequila & Mezcal Bar.
♦ Difficulty Level: Moderate

Ingredients

BARTENDER Magazine’s Recommended Spirit: Tanqueray Gin
♦ 2oz Tanqueray Gin
♦ 1/4oz Plum Liquor
♦ 1/4oz Chareu
♦ 1/2oz Ketel One Vodka
♦ 2 drops saline solution 20%

Steps

1. Fill a mixing glass with ice.
2. Add:
3. 2 oz Tanqueray Gin
3. 1/2 oz Ketel One Vodka
3. 1/4 oz Plum Liqueur
3. 1/4 oz Chareau
3. 2 drops saline solution
3. Stir for 20–30 seconds until well chilled and properly diluted. Express a lime twist over the mixing glass or over the serving glass by squeezing the peel to release the oils. Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass. Run the lemon peel lightly around the rim. Drop the twist into the glass or place it neatly on the rim.
