How to Make a Metropolitan

Ingredients

♦ 1 oz. sweet vermouth

♦ 1½–2 oz. brandy

♦ ½ tsp. simple syrup

♦ 2 dashes bitters

♦ 4–5 ice cubes

Steps

1. Shake all ingredients except one or two ice cubes, strain into a chilled cocktail glass over one or two ice cubes.
