How to Make a New York Sour

Ingredients

♦ Egg white (optional)

♦ 1½ oz. bourbon or rye whiskey

♦ ¾ oz. lemon juice

♦ ¾ oz. simple syrup

♦ ½ oz. red wine

Steps

1. If adding egg white, dry shake first.

2. Add ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake.

3. Strain into a rocks glass and top with a float of red wine.
