How to Make a Sazerac Cocktail (Modern)

Ingredients

♦ 1 tsp. Absinthe

♦ 1 sugar cube

♦ 3 dashes orange bitters

♦ 2 dashes bitters

♦ 1¼ oz. rye whiskey

♦ 1¼ oz. cognac

♦ ½ tsp. water

♦ Lemon peel for garnish

Steps

1. Rinse rocks glass with Absinthe, muddle sugar and bitters, add other ingredients and ice, stir, and strain.

2. Garnish with lemon peel.
