How to Make a Tequila Julep

Ingredients

♦ 2 sprigs fresh mint

♦ plus more for garnish

♦ 1 tsp. superfine sugar or ¼ oz. simple syrup

♦ 1¼ oz. tequila

♦ Club soda

Steps

1. Crush two mint leaves with sugar or simple syrup in a chilled highball glass and fill with ice.

2. Add tequila and top with club soda.

3. Garnish with mint leaves.
