Ingredients

BARTENDER Magazine’s Recommended Spirit: Tanqueray London Dry Gin
♦ 2.5 oz Tanqueray London Dry Gin
♦ 0.5 oz Dry Vermouth
♦ Ice
♦ Garnish: 1 lemon twist or 3 green olives

Steps

1. Chill the glass by filling it with ice and water while you prepare the cocktail.
2. Fill a mixing glass with fresh ice.
3. Add 2.5 oz Tanqueray Gin and 0.5 oz Dry Vermouth.
3. Stir for 20–30 seconds until well chilled and properly diluted.
3. Empty the ice water from the martini glass.
3. Strain the cocktail into the chilled glass.
3. Garnish with a lemon twist (express the oils over the drink and discard or drop in) or three olives on a pick.
