Himanshu “Liquid Chef” Desai is a Corporate Beverage Director overseeing fine-dining programs across Houston, Austin, and New Orleans. Born in Pune, India, he began at a five-star hotel, then advanced through leadership roles in Dubai’s luxury hospitality scene before moving to the U.S. In Houston, he helped shape high-end restaurant and bar operations while mentoring teams and elevating guest experience. A standout competitor, he was the first Indian bartender to represent his country at a global cognac cocktail competition in France, earning second place worldwide (2018). Today, he continues to innovate, building systems and menus that redefine modern cocktail culture—one drink at a time.
