About Souvik Dasgupta

Mumbai-born Souvik Dasgupta is a hospitality leader whose career spans four continents. A Queen Margaret University graduate (International Hospitality Management), he has invested deeply in spirits education, training across 32 countries. His path runs from early roles in Edinburgh and Dubai to mentorship under one of London’s most storied hotel bars, then leadership posts across the Middle East and Asia—earning recognition from Tales of the Cocktail (2019) and World’s 50 Best Discovery. In 2019 he helped open a Hong Kong bar that debuted on Asia’s 50 Best. In 2020 he launched a Houston program named to TIME’s “World’s Greatest Places,” later earning one MICHELIN Star (2025). He now consults across the U.S. and Mexico.
