Featured Bartender October 2026: Kat Calma

Born in the Philippines and raised in the United States, Kat Calma brings her Filipino roots and a hands-on approach to hospitality to her role as Managing Partner and Bar Manager at The Dustland in Downtown Las Vegas’ Arts District.

Growing up surrounded by family gatherings where food, drinks, and always making room for one more were second nature, Kat learned early on that hospitality extends far beyond the glass. Today, she carries that same philosophy into developing cocktail programs, creating unique drinks, and leading her team in a neighborhood known for its independent bars, creative energy, and close-knit cocktail community.

As a Filipino woman in bar ownership and leadership, Kat takes pride in helping shape the future of Las Vegas hospitality. While much of her time is spent managing the day-to-day operations of The Dustland, her passion remains behind the bar, where she feels most at home.
