Hotel California Tequila receives two honors
Tequila rating publication The Crítico places HCT in top 10
GLASTONBURY – Hotel California Tequila USA has received two honors from The
Crítico, a tequila rating publication (thecritico.com).
One honor names Hotel California Tequila (HCT) one of the top 10 favored consumer
brands for 2012. The Crítico also picked HCT’s Reposado as one to the top 10 tequilas of
2012.
Headquartered in Glastonbury, Hotel California Tequila USA has three types of ultra
premium tequila – Blanco, Anejo, and Reposado.
“Past awards have shown the quality of Hotel California Tequila types,” Hotel California
Tequila USA President Jonathan Goldstein said. “Being honored by The Crítico just
emphasizes the quality and taste of our tequila.”
Hotel California Tequila USA, named after the legendary Hotel California in Baja, has
previously won numerous awards and honors for each of its tequila types, including
kudos from the San Francisco Spirits Competition, The Tequila Spectator and The
Crítico.
“We are definitely a world class premium tequila company who takes a back seat to no
one,” Goldstein said. “Packaging, taste, and our iconic name makes Hotel California
Tequila an award winning great tequila.”
HCT has a unique bottle design that was enhanced this year with new labeling.
“We are currently in nine key states and are looking to expand distribution in other parts
of the country,” Goldstein said.
Hotel California Tequila’s price range is from $37-$39, depending on the market.
