As we raise a glass to Lucid on National Absinthe Day, Lucid Absinthe invites you to join them in a cocktail and a Facebook chat with Ted Breaux (“The father of modern Absinthe”) Live from the Combier Distillery in France, where Lucid is made. Check thier Facebook page for times and giveaways.
The Green Hour – In the 1860s, 5pm was known as l’heure verte or The Green Hour
1 oz. Lucid Absinthe
1 ½ oz. melon liqueur
splash of ginger ale
2-3 lime wedges
lime spiral for garnish
In a rocks glass, muddle lime wedges. In a shaker add ice, Lucid Absinthe and melon liqueur. Shake vigorously and strain into muddled rocks glass. Top with a splash of ginger ale and garnish with lime spiral.
Mint Muse – An ode to the painting by Albert Maignan
1 oz. Lucid Absinthe
2 oz. pineapple juice
2 oz. lemon-lime soda
6-8 mint leaves
2 lime wedges
In a tall glass, muddle mint leaves and a lime wedge. Add ice, Lucid Absinthe, pineapple juice and top with lemon-lime soda. Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wedge.
Lucid Cooler – a fresh drink to help us welcome spring
2 oz. Lucid Absinthe
1 oz. St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
1 oz. simple syrup
1 oz. fresh lime
1 oz. ginger ale
fresh basil leaves
fresh grapes
Muddle basil leaves with simple syrup in a rocks glass. Add ice, Lucid Absinthe, St-Germain, fresh lime and ginger ale. Garnish with fresh grapes.

Zombie Bite
1 oz. Lucid Absinthe
1 oz. Midori® Melon Liqueur
1 oz. lemon-lime soda
1.5 oz. pineapple juice
In a cocktail shaker add Lucid Absinthe, Midori Melon Liqueur, pineapple juice, and ice. Shake vigorously and strain into 2oz. shot glass. Splash lemon-lime soda on top and a drizzle of grenadine, and stay away from the zombies.
Rick’s Mind Eraser
1 oz. Lucid Absinthe
1 oz. coffee liqueur
1 oz. soda water
In a glass with ice, add coffee liqueur followed by Lucid Absinthe. Pour soda water on top. Add straw and suck drink though straw from the bottom of the glass until finished. Just try not to actually lose your marbles like Rick.
Daryl Dixon’s Cocktail
2 oz. Sobieski Orange Vodka
1 oz. orange liquor
1.5 oz. orange juice
Shake and serve this cocktail in your favorite glass, even Merle would be impressed with this cocktail.

This game day instead of sipping on the traditional game day drinks, mix things up with some unique cocktails from Lucid Absinthe! Whether you’re watching the game on your lucky couch or in the parking lot tailgating, these cocktails with certainly be a touchdown!
First Down
1 oz. Lucid Absinthe
½ oz. peach schnapps
4 oz. ginger ale
1 peach wedge
In a cocktail shaker, add ice, Lucid Absinthe, peach schnapps and ginger ale. Shake vigorously. Strain into a highball glass and garnish with a peach wedge.
Rush
1 oz. Lucid Absinthe
1 ½ oz. Jagermeister
1 oz. ice cold water
Pour Jagermeister into rocks glass. Add Lucid Absinthe, add ice cold water.
The Hail Mary
1 oz. Lucid Absinthe
2 oz. Sobieski Vodka
½ oz. triple sec
Splash 7-Up
Orange wedge and mint sprig (garnish)
In an ice-filled shaker add all of the ingredients, except the 7-Up, add a few squeezed orange wedges and shake thoroughly.
Strain into the rocks glass and add the splash of 7-Up and the garnish.
Here are some cocktails from Lucid Absinthe
LUCID SUMMER PUNCH
1 oz. Lucid Absinthe
2 blackberries
½ oz. ginger syrup
¾ oz. fresh orange juice
1 oz. gin
Muddle the berries in the ginger syrup and orange juice. Add remaining ingredients. Shake well with ice and strain over ice.
LUCID MINT MUSE
1 ½ oz. Lucid Absinthe
2 oz. pineapple juice
Muddled mint leaves
Lime wedge
Top with Sprite or 7-UP
Muddle mint leaves with lime wedge and add Lucid Absinthe. Add ice and pineapple juice and shake briefly. Top with Sprite or 7-UP and add mint sprig.
