THIS NATIONAL MARGARITA DAY, BRING THE HEAT

Tequila is one of the fastest-growing spirits categories in the U.S., a rise fueled in no small part by the Margarita. Long ranked by Nielsen as the country’s top-selling cocktail, the endlessly versatile classic continues to inspire new twists. And increasingly, bartenders report that when guests step up to the bar — especially on “National Margarita Day,” February 22 — they’re asking for one thing: heat.

That’s exactly why Ghost Tequila was created. Crafted in Jalisco, Mexico, from high-quality 100% Blue Weber Agave, Ghost is infused with a hint of ghost pepper, designed to make mixing exceptional spicy cocktails effortless. There’s something undeniably appealing about a spicy margarita: the balance of sweet and savory, the refreshing lift, and that satisfying bite of heat. Traditionally, those flavors require time-intensive, from-scratch preparation behind the bar. Ghost Tequila changes that. By building the spice directly into the spirit, it delivers consistency, efficiency, and spicy flavor in every pour.

Now, thanks to new partnerships with several leading national and regional restaurant groups, Ghost Tequila is bringing spicy margaritas and other spicy cocktails to more bars and dining rooms than ever before — on National Margarita Day and every day. Highlights include:

  • Buffalo Wild Wings: Ghost Blanco Tequila is now featured at all 1,200 locations nationwide as the base of the chain’s new Spicy Margarita
  • Topgolf: Ghost Tequila is available at 100 venues nationwide in both a Spicy Margarita and the “Mexican Candy” shot (Ghost Blanco Tequila, watermelon, and lime)
  • Fat Tuesday’s: Ghost Spicy Mango Margarita and “Mexican Candy” shot rolling out at select locations
  • Disney Springs: A Ghost Spicy Margarita is now featured at The Boathouse, one of the highest-volume independent restaurants in the U.S.
  • Escalante’s (Texas): “Blue Margarita” featuring Ghost Tequila is highlighted throughout February for National Margarita Day
  • Maple Hospitality Group: Now featured at Maple & Ash in Arizona and Florida, among other venues

“It’s always exciting to introduce new bartenders and consumers to Ghost Tequila,” says Alex Carregal, Ghost Tequila’s Vice President, On Premise. “The moment they see it and taste it, they get it — Ghost makes it effortless to craft delicious, versatile, and consistently balanced spicy cocktails. That’s exactly why Buffalo Wild Wings, Fat Tuesday’s, Topgolf, and so many other bars and restaurants across the country and around the world have chosen to feature Ghost Tequila in their signature drinks.”

Since its launch almost 10 years ago, Ghost has continued to grow and expand distribution to all 50 U.S. states and international markets including the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

“With tequila’s global momentum rising and spicy flavors continuing to captivate drinkers, Ghost Tequila is well positioned to lead the spicy margarita and spicy cocktail category,” adds John McDonnell, the newly appointed Executive Chairman of the Board at Ghost.
