Globally acclaimed mixologist Charles Joly will return in collaboration with 2024 World’s Best Bar Handshake Speakeasy from Mexico City, creating an esteemed lineup of signature cocktails that puts the flavors of Modern Mexico into the spotlight.
Founded upon Don Julio González’s love for his craft, agave and community, Tequila Don Julio was born in the Highlands of Jalisco and crafted to perfection. This year’s luxury cocktail offerings are an ode to Mexico’s dynamic culture, presented through vibrant ingredients and exemplary flavor profiles that elevate classic cocktails into exceptional creations.
“Each cocktail gets the star-studded treatment with Tequila Don Julio at the foundation, offering depth and complexity combined with elegance and refinement that makes each drink worthy to toast to the night with,” says Charles Joly. “This occasion is often referred to as ‘Hollywood’s Biggest Night’ and we take that to heart. Pushing the bounds to create an A-list drinks experience to celebrate the night’s most monumental moments, Joly and Handshake Speakeasy, with their highly skilled team prepared 1,200 limes, 25,500 espresso beans, 1,000 apples and more for this year’s cast of cocktails, including Golden Age Gimlet made with Tequila Don Julio Blanco, The Clear Winner featuring Tequila Don Julio Reposado, Standing Ovation spotlighting Tequila Don Julio Alma Miel, and The Class Act starring Tequila Don Julio 1942.
