A signature Tanqueray martini from Merchants Club.
♦ Difficulty Level: Moderate

Ingredients

BARTENDER Magazine’s Recommended Spirit: Tanqueray Gin
♦ 2 oz Rice washed Tanqueray
♦ .75 Soju
♦ .25 oz Kimchi Brine
♦ Garnish: Sesame Seeds & Nori

Steps

1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass, fill with ice and stir briskly for 18 seconds. Strain into a chilled and prepared Coupe. To prepare the Coupe, dust a portion of it with a blend of Sesame Seeds and Nori.
2. Rice washed Tanqueray
3. 2 tbsp White Rice
3. 20 oz Tanqueray
3. 1 Pinch Red Pepper Flakes
3. Combine in a sealable container and shake well. Let sit for 8 hours. Add a pinch of Red Pepper Flakes, and let sit for 15 minutes. Pour through a fine mesh strainer. Discard rice. Store Tanqueray in the fridge until ready to use.
