mixologists, Basil Hayden’s Double Eagle is the perfect libation to get you in the spirit for the
upcoming golf season.  So, whether you’re hitting the links with friends or watching golf’s greatest
champions conquer the course in Augusta, be sure to do it with the Basil Hayden’s Double Eagle
in hand!

Basil Hayden’s® Double Eagle

Thai basil, lemon and Aperol®, a bitter orange flavored Italian aperitif,  mix with the smooth yet
spicy flavors of Basil Hayden’s Bourbon to create the perfect balance of citrus and herbal flavors.
Basil Hayden’s Double Eagle is light and refreshing, yet complex – making it your drink of choice
this spring. Mixing one up may not get you your own Green Jacket, but when you’re enjoying this
delicious and unique cocktail, you’ll certainly feel like a winner.


DOUBLE EAGLE INGREDIENTS:
*
2 parts Basil Hayden’s® Bourbon
* 1/2 Lemon muddled with Thai Basil
* 1 part Aperol®
* 3/4 part of Simple Syrup (1:1 ratio of equal parts simple syrup and water)

PREPARATION:
*
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake for 6 seconds
* Double strain over ice in a martini glass
* Garnish with a grapefruit peel and thai basil leaf

industry while attending culinary school at the California Culinary Academy. After graduating,
Jason took a position at the Sanctuary Resort on Camelback Mountain and began experimenting in
